What you'll do
- Keep the CASA Compute Environment’s PaaS component running through administration, maintenance and operational support
- Maintain platform reliability, scalability and security compliance while tuning cluster performance for mission and application needs
- Monitor Kubernetes clusters and diagnose workload problems involving ingress, networking, storage or performance
- Use automation, Helm charts and monitoring tools to support platform configuration and operation
What you bring
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, plus Security+ certification
- At least six years supporting COTS/GOTS software integration and configuration across different operating systems
- A computer science degree or related qualification, or five years of directly related full-time computer science work in its place
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Bash or Python, containers, Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm, Prometheus or Grafana, and Git

Position Required Skills:
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux suite of tools
- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker/Podman
- Demonstrated experience administrating and monitoring Kubernetes clusters
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads (ingress, performance, networking, storage, etc.)
- Experience with IaC principles, concepts, and methodologies using automation tools including Ansible
- Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm Charts
- Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus /Grafana
- Experience using Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience working in a DevOps environment that uses Agile principles and methodologies
- Experience with or willingness to learn development of Python applications (REST services, microservices, etc.)
- CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
- TS/SCI with polygraph
- Security+
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.

The individual shall have five (5) years full-time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
