What you'll do
- Build, connect and maintain Delinea tools in Linux environments, supporting secure credentials, privileged access and secrets automation
- Act as the Linux-based Delinea technical lead and coordinate with security, infrastructure and DevOps colleagues
- Keep large Linux clusters running through daily operations, monitoring and resolution of system issues
- Troubleshoot distributed systems by examining logs, services, network behavior and authentication failures
What you bring
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- A relevant computer science degree and five years of comparable SWE work with a master’s, or seven with a bachelor’s
- Alternatively, nine years of SWE experience on programs of similar scope and complexity
- Recent Python and Java development, Bash or Python scripting, and strong Linux administration experience
- Hands-on support or implementation of a Delinea product, plus experience connecting it to directory services

Position Required Skills:
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Suite of Tools
- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
- Recent software development experience using Python and Java
- Strong background in Linux administration such as RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting at least one Delinea product (e.g., Secret Server, Privilege Manager, DevOps Secrets Vault)
- Experience integrating Delinea with directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, FreeIPA).
- Understanding of identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), certificate-based authentication, and security best practices
- Experience troubleshooting system-level issues in distributed environments, including logs, services, networking, and authentication
- Familiarity with API-based integrations, RESTful services, and secrets automation in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as Ansible and SaltStack
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and associated secret‑handling patterns
- Experience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience supporting enterprise security tools or working in a cybersecurity-focused software engineering role

- Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
