Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - UI for our mission-critical command-and-control (C2) interface for autonomous ground vehicles. This role combines hands-on frontend development building highly reliable, performant UIs used in real-world operational environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable making architectural trade-offs, collaborating across disciplines, and iterating quickly based on direct user feedback from the field.

What You'll Do

• Develop a cutting-edge command-and- control (C2) interface for autonomous ground vehicles.
• Remain hands-on in the codebase, contributing to core UI features, architectural components, and critical bug fixes.
• Partner closely with UX designers to translate design systems into high-quality, production-ready implementations.
• Collaborate with product managers to shape requirements and break work into clear, deliverable milestones.
• Get into the field to observe real users operating the system in training and operational environments, rapidly iterating and experimenting based on end-user needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline and 3+ years relevant professional experience; OR 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience with different frontend development languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity integrating with a variety of backend APIs.
• Experience working with multiple communication protocols; prior experience with MQTT is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with ATAK/TAK is strongly preferred

Compensation And Benefits

Pay Range: $150,000 - $230,000 annually

Actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
