Be part of something bigger. Decode the future.
At Electrolux, as a leading global appliance company, we strive every day to shape living for the better for our consumers, our people and our planet. We share ideas and collaborate so that together, we can develop solutions that deliver enjoyable and sustainable living.
Come join us as you are. We believe diverse perspectives make us stronger and more innovative. In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute, and grow together.
About the Role
Join a global engineering organization building AI-powered digital experiences used by millions of consumers worldwide.
We're rebuilding the real-time event and consumer backbone that every consumer-facing product at Electrolux depends on. You'll help shape and deliver these capabilities end-to-end, from architecture and experimentation through production operations, while building the event, data, and AI foundations that enable them.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, build, and delivery of cloud-native applications and services across consumer engagement and digital experience platforms
- Define technical approaches and architecture for new capabilities, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and operationally efficient
- Design the consumer data foundations powering personalization, activation, experimentation, and AI, including event platforms, analytics datasets, customer intelligence models, and transformation pipelines (e.g. dbt, Databricks, BigQuery)
- Work with consumer and behavioral data to enable segmentation, personalization, activation, and real-time consumer experiences while maintaining appropriate privacy, consent, security controls and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA and similar frameworks)
- Take systems from prototype to production: recommendation engines, predictive models and intelligent automation used by real consumers at scale
- Partner directly with product, CX, data, and engineering teams to identify opportunities and convert them into production-ready solutions
- Own services end-to-end, from solution design and proof-of-concept through implementation, deployment, monitoring, optimization, and production support
- Apply CI/CD, automated testing, telemetry, orchestration, and secure development practices as the default, not an afterthought
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools as part of the standard workflow
Who You Are
Must-have:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building and operating cloud-native applications at scale
- Experience delivering production solutions on Azure or GCP
- Strong hand-on experience with Python and/or Go
- Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and integration platforms
- Experience designing data pipelines and analytical datasets that support ML or personalization workloads, including strong SQL and data modeling
- Strong understanding of observability, reliability engineering, CI/CD, security, and operational excellence
- Experience building, integrating, or operating AI-powered capabilities such as LLM applications, RAG solutions, recommendation systems, predictive models, agents, or intelligent automation platforms
- Ability to influence technical direction and align engineering decisions with business outcomes
- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and influencing architecture decisions without direct authority
Nice to have:
- Experience taking AI-enabled systems from proof-of-concept to production workloads
- Experience with customer data, identity, engagement, personalization, or digital-experience platforms
- Experience with event-streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hub, Pub/Sub) and modern data tooling (dbt, Spark, Databricks)
- Experience with Java (with Quarkus or Spring Boot)
- Previous mentoring, team-lead, or people-lead experience
- Contributions to open-source projects (GitHub profile welcome)
