Responsibilities:
- Perform full stack development of system features based on customer requirements, with a particular focus on backend API development.
- Implement feature additions and updates in response to evolving mission-driven requirements.
- Provide development support to automation development team, including providing code reviews and software-engineering expertise as well as identifying and developing enabling functions to support automations.
- Modernize and harden mission management system, including assisting with migration of the system to modern infrastructure (Kubernetes), performing system updates and upgrades, and developing and implementing additional security features into the system.
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- 8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
Candidates are required to have the follow skills:
- Experience building full-scale applications and APIs with Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.
- Service containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (including Helm chart authoring and CI/CD integration)
- Proficiency with SQL and noSQL databases (PostGres, MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, etc).
- Familiarity with Git.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
- Experience with data orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow
- Full-stack application development experience including front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Familiarity with automation testing and CI/CD pipeline development
- Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
